Air France allows passengers to use their personal electronic devices on-board

New Delhi,26 February, 2014: Air France passengers can now enjoy the added benefit of using their personal electronic devices at all stages on all flights to and from India. Starting 07 February 2014 Air France customers can continue to work or play from the moment they board their plane until they arrive at destination in total freedom. Air France does all it can on a daily basis to offer its passengers more autonomy. Air France guests will be able to use their PEDs in “flight mode” in all phases of the flight. Personal electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets and similar devices without Bluetooth and Wifi reception can be used from departure gate to arrival gate in full freedom during their journey.
AIR FRANCE, with its regional subsidiary HOP!, operates 1,500 daily flights in France, Europe and worldwide. Its fleet comprises 374 aircraft in operation. Since 2004, AIR FRANCE and KLM have formed a major player in the air transport industry. The two airlines operate the leading long-haul network on departure from Europe. In 2012, AIR FRANCE and KLM carried 77.4 million passengers. The two airlines currently offer their customers access to a network covering 243 destinations in 103 countries from their hubs at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol. Their Flying Blue frequent flyer programme is leader in Europe and has over 21 million members. AIR FRANCE and KLM and their partners Delta and Alitalia operate the biggest trans-Atlantic joint-venture with more than 250 daily flights. AIR FRANCE and KLM are members of the SkyTeam alliance which has 19 member airlines, offering customers access to a global network of over 15,500 daily flights to 1,000 destinations in 187 countries.
