Baltic Aviation Academy offers additional A320 and B737NG pilot trainings in Prague

Aviation training centre Baltic Aviation Academy (BAA) based inVilnius,Lithuania, expands capacities for Boeing 737 NG and Airbus A320 type rating trainings by adding trainings in the full-flight simulators (FFS) in Prague, Czech Republic. Capacity expansion is the result of the agreement betweenBalticAviationAcademyand CAE, leading provider of simulation and modeling technologies and integrated training solutions for the civil aviation and defense forces.
CAE will relocate a B737NG full-flight simulator to the Czech Airlines (CSA) training centre. CAE also dealt to moderate wet and dry third-party training on two FFSs owned by Czech Airlines – a CAE-built Boeing 737 Classic FFS and an A320 simulator.
„BalticAviationAcademygets an increasing number of requests for B737 NG and A320 pilot trainings, so the expanded capabilities will help to meet the booming demand for the trainings on these aircraft types. For example, when the particular simulator is overloaded inLithuania, we will offer our clients to conduct their training inPrague. Partnership with CAE opens us an access to extensive training resources for our customers, which are of the highest quality on the market”, said Egle Vaitkeviciute, CEO atBalticAviationAcademy.

Baltic Aviation Academy B737 NG practical training currently is being provided inBrussels(Belgium),Amsterdam(Netherlands) andLondon(UK). Airbus A320 FFS has recently been located toBalticAviationAcademy’s premises inVilnius. An additional location for trainings on A320 aircraft type is provided in Southampton (United Kingdom).
Boeing 737 NG type rating training includes training for B737 600/700/800/900 aircrafts. The ground training is executed atBalticAviationAcademy’s headquarter inVilniusand practical training is carried out at the client’s preferred location. Currently, Boeing 737NG type rating is being provided by 26 instructors from Lithuania,Poland,EstoniaandUnited Kingdom. Airbus A320 training at BAA is being delivered by 28 instructors fromUnited Kingdom,Greece,U.S.A.,Germany,Poland,Lithuania,Croatia.
Baltic Aviation Academy aviation training centre carries out 43 training programs, including type rating training courses for Boeing 737 CL, Boeing 737 NG, Boeing 747-400, Boeing 757, Boeing 767, Boeing 777, Saab 340/2000, Airbus A320, ATR 42/72, Bombardier CRJ 100/200, Bombardier CRJ 700/900, Embraer ERJ 135/145, Dash8Q-400 aircrafts and the initial pilot training school (FTO) courses.
