Bombay: Saab AB is gearing up to push its multi-role combat aircraft Gripen for an expected Indian Air Force order of 126 aircraft, the Economic Times reported, citing the Swedish aerospace firm's India director.
The Gripen is pitted against Dassault Aviation's Rafale, Russia's Mig-35, EADS Typhoon and the US' F-18, the report said.
Saab plans to have its largest-ever presence in India at the upcoming Aero India airshow at Bangalore, it said.
