{"id":56,"date":"2006-06-23T06:11:00","date_gmt":"2006-06-23T06:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/indianaviationnews.net\/archives\/?p=56"},"modified":"2006-06-23T06:11:00","modified_gmt":"2006-06-23T06:11:00","slug":"jet-recalls-executives-sahara-flies-on-its-own","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indianaviationnews.net\/newsarchives\/2006\/06\/jet-recalls-executives-sahara-flies-on-its-own.html","title":{"rendered":"Jet recalls executives, Sahara flies on its own"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: rgb(153, 0, 0);\">Mumbai\/New Delhi:<\/span> A day after the collapse of Jet Airways\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 agreement to acquire Air Sahara, both airlines began operating on their own today.<br \/>The management control of Air Sahara, which to a great extent had gone into Jet\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s hands, was restored to Subroto Roy\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Sahara Group.<br \/>Air Sahara executives said the airline had written to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, saying that its agreement to lease a wide-bodied plane to Jet be cancelled. Jet had deployed the aircraft for its international operations.<br \/>Jet Airways ended common ticket sales, passenger exchange, flight-swapping and corporate and agency agreements with Air Sahara.<br \/>Sources said Jet Airways had also dropped maintenance-checks for Air Sahara\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s CRJ and Boeing 737 aircraft.
