Arunachal Pradesh to get first flying training organization at Tezu Airport
Itanagar: Giving yet another boost to the aviation industry in NE India, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has recently signed an agreement with M/s Hercules Aviation Training School Pvt Ltd to set up a flying training organization (FTO) at Tezu Airport in Arunachal Pradesh’s Lohit district. The agreement will accelerate the establishment process of the first FTO in the border state to help produce commercial pilots, according to official sources.
“With the establishment of FTO in this important tourist destination, fresh opportunities for aspiring aviation professionals will open up. This aviation academy will also provide them with the finest training to become commercial pilots,” the AAI said in a tweet.
Hailing the development, Chief Minister Pema Khandu in his Twitter handle wrote, “An airport brings with it ease of travel and ecosystem of growth, opportunities. Delighted that Arunachal Pradesh’s first FTO is coming up at AAI’s Tezu Airport, following the signing of an agreement with M/s Hercules Aviation Training School Pvt Ltd.”
The upcoming aviation academy will give youths a chance to soar high in their career by joining the booming aviation industry, Khandu said while conveying his best wishes for the initiative.
