Air India subsidiary looks for Transition Commander and Trainee Commanders
Airline Allied Services Limited (A wholly owned subsidiary of Air India Limited), is looking for Transition Commander, Trainee Commanders, Senior First Officer and First Officer. (This job notification is an extension of the airlines notification on 05.11.2019).
1. Transition Commander
Pilots with ATPL with Minimum 2000 hours of Total flying experience on High Performance Military jets or Pilots with 2000 hours of total flying hours and PIC of 1000 hours on Multi Engine Corporate Jets I Turbo Prop Aircrafts AUW exceeding 5700 KGS can apply.
Should have valid endorsement and valid rating as PIC on type rated/non type rated aircraft (High performance Military jets/ Multi Engine Corporate jets / Turbo Prop Aircraft as the case may be).
Academic Qualification: 10+2 (with Physics & Maths) from a recognized Board/University.
Upper age limit:
53 Years (Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 Years for SC/ST & 3 Years for OBC Candidates. (for Ex-Servicemen, as per rules).
Technical/Licence qualification:
- Current valid ATPL/CPL issued DY DGCA, India
- ATR Endorsement should be valid for minimum of 08 (Eight) months from the date of the application (14/08/2020).
- Valid Endorsement as PIC (Type rated) on ATR Family and Valid ratings and endorsement as PIC (Non Rated) on high performance Military Jets / Multi Engine Corporate Jets / Turbo Prop full glass cockpit Aircrafts.
- Current Class-! Medical Fitness Certificate issued by DGCA, India
- Current FRTO issued by DGCA, India
- Current RTR (A) or RTR (P) or RTR (C) issued by WPC, Ministry of Communication, India
- Valid ELP
- Candidates should be in possession of Indian Current Passport, if not available, proof of submission of application
Selected candidates shall be given a letter of intent (L01) to undergo ATR 72/600 Company Aircraft Type rating training/ differential training at their own cost in a specified period. For any additional training to be given to the pilots by the Alliance Air, a Bank Guarantee would be required to be submitted by the pilot against a minimum period of 05 (FIVE) years of service.
Trainee Commanders
Pilots with ATPL & with Minimum 2000 hours Total flying experience on commercial Aircrafts AUW exceeding 5700 KGs can apply.

- Current Class-I Medical Fitness Certificate issued by DGCA, India
- Current FRTO issued by DGCA, India
- Current RTR (A) or RTR (P) or RTR (C) issued by WPC, Ministry of Communication, India
- Valid ELP
General requirements & conditions
- Candidates should be in possession of Indian Current passport, if not available, proof of submission
- No Objection certificate from previous employer
- Accident/ incident free record at the time of application in the preceding one year from date of do application
- Applicants serving in Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector Undertakings should apply through proper channel

Documents
- A recent passport size photograph pasted in the space provided in the Application Format
- One set of photocopies of supporting testimonials for date of birth, caste, qualification, cabs a experience (such as Appointment Letter, Photo Identity Card etc.) along with originals
- One set of photocopies of above Licences/Endorsements, Updated Flying Logbook along with Original Licences & Flying Logbook with Original Licences & Flying Logbook
- A Demand Draft for an amount of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees Fifteen Hundred Only) payable to Airline © Allied Services Limited, payable at New Delhi. (Not applicable in the case of ST/SC Candidates)
- Applicable for SC / ST / OBC/ EWS Candidates ONLY:
- Caste Certificate in the prescribed preforma issued by the appropriate authority.
- Candidates belonging to OBC Category will be required to attach the Caste Certificate in the proforma meant for Central Government employment. “Candidates belonging to OBC category, the category certificate should be in the preseribed format including the “Non —-Creamy layer clause†issued by the Competent Authority for employment under Government of India and should be as per the Central list of OBC published by Government of India. Please also note that the validity of “Non- Creamy layer†Certificate should not be older than 06 (Six) months from the date of eligibility criteria.†required to attach the Caste Certificate in the proforma meant for Central Government.
- Candidates belonging to EWS category will be required to attach Income & Assets Certificate
- A Demand Draft for an amount of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees Fifteen Hundred Only) payable to Airline Allied Services Limited, payable at New Delhi. (Not applicable in the case of ST/SC re Candidates)
After scrutiny of applications, candidates who fulfil the above eligibility criteria will be required to appear for a Personal Interview & Simulator Proficiency Assessment Check
