New MBA course tailored for aviation industry
Mumbai: The Dr D Y Patil University Department of Business Management (DYPDBM) has recently launched a new MBA program in aviation management, in association with the airline industry. The MBA program is a two year full time program.Â
With the recent growth in the airline industries and new airlines, such as Jet-Ethihad Airways, Tata Singapore Airlines, Air Asia among others entering the Indian airfield, a need for a large number of professionals in aviation industry has led to the starting of this MBA course, said Dr R Gopal, director of DYPDBM.
Several aviation consultants like KPMG, Ernst and Young have recently entered the aviation field due to the growth in this sector. Tata Honeywell, Mahindra Aerospace, IBM, Infosys, WIPRO, Kale Consultants HCL are some of other prominent names in this industry.
