Enter the aero-space lawyer
The Center for Air and Space Law (CASL), NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad is launching new and innovative programmes of study in Aviation, Space, Telecommunications, GIS and Remote Sensing Laws, in June, 2013. Classes for these courses, which combine technology, management and law, are to be offered at the centres in Bangalore, Guwahati, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
The course designers in NALSAR University say these courses offer a unique value-added qualification which could help students get global placements in the aerospace and telecom industries. The initiative, NALSAR says, crystallises an academic–industry partnership in the domain of air-transport management, aviation, space and telecom laws.
The unprecedented growth in the aviation sector coupled with commercialisation of space technologies have created the need for thousands of skilled men and women to meet requirements not just as managers of the rapidly growing airports, airlines, aerospace and telecommunications sectors, but also for handling the legal complications arising from these high-value transactions.
