Air India pilots in demand
Reports in Asia say private airlines are offering jobs to Air India pilots who either have quit or who plan to do so.Carriers including IndiGo, SpiceJet, Qatar Airways and Emirates reportedly are cherry picking AI’s pilot base to meet their own fleet expansion needs. According to the Indian Commercial Pilots Association (ICPA), five Air India pilots already have resigned this month. Seventeen more might follow.
