DGCA to fill up over 150 posts on short-term contract

Mumbai: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) plans to hire 178 personnel pan India on a short-term contract in a bid to overcome severe manpower crunch faced by it for last few years.
The civil aviation regulator plans to fill up 178 posts in various segments on contract up to one year, a circular posted on the DGCA website said.
The vacancies are existing in key areas such as air safety, air worthiness, operations, flights operations inspection, cabin safety and aeronauticals.
