Carver Aviation to purchase 10 CTLS planes
Hyderabad: Carver Aviation, a part of European Aviation, Friday announced it would buy 10 more Comprehensive Trauma Life Support (CTLS) light-sport aircraft for its pilot training schools in India.
Marc Carvalho, chief executive officer, Carver Aviation, told reporters during India Aviation 2010 event here that they had already purchased two twin-seater CTLS, one of which was displayed at the show.
The firm will also invest Rs.15-20 crore in the flying academy at Dimapur in Nagaland, which is expected to be operational this April.
Carver already has pilot training and aircraft maintenance engineering school at Baramati in Maharashtra and has recently started a new flying school at Karad, also in Maharashtra.
The firm plans 40,000 flying hours every year at all the three academies. Each flying hour costs Rs.8,000.
