Jet Airways looks to hire experienced pilots to resume operations
Jet Airways has started looking for experienced pilots as the airline’s new promoters have already started work to resume operations. The airline was given operational clearance for a resolution plan that was accepted by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in June.
On Twitter, the airline shared the job posting and said, “Jet Airways is back and is looking for experienced Pilots. Hope to have you on-board soon!â€

This is the first time the airline has shared a job posting after it was grounded in April 2019.
The NCLT has approved a resolution plan submitted by Murari Lal Jalan-Kalrock Capital consortium for the revival of grounded airline earlier this year. Operations of the airline are expected to start after slots are allotted to Jet Airways.
Both the civil aviation ministry and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation had earlier said that the airline cannot claim “historically†for slots at airports and the allocations of slots will be based on existing guidelines. The slots for Jet Airways are yet to be finalised.
The consortium has clarified that only 50 of 4,000 staffers, who remained with Jet after the airline was grounded, will be retained.
