Indira Gandhi Uran Akademi invites applications for various posts

Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA), an aviation training institute under the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), Govt. of India, has invited applications for the posts of Flight Instructor, Battery Shop In-charge, Accounts Officer, Quality Manager, Senior Simulator Instructor, Training Manager, English Language Proficiency Instructor, and Drone Instructor for its flying school and AME school at its Fursatganj Airfield (Amethii, Uttar Pradesh) campus.

1. Flight Instructor

• Number of Positions : 02 (Reserve for OBC-1, SC-1)
• Position Status : Contract
• Duty Station : IGRUA, Fursatganj Airfield, Amethi(UP)
• Qualifying Requirements :
  • Total Flying – 1000 hrs
  • Total Instructional Flying – 500 hrs
  • Holding Valid CPL, IR, FIR(A), FRTOL, RTR, Valid Class-1 Medical

Or

• • Ex-Armed Forces Pilot – QFI with Valid CPL/ ATPL with FIR(A) and Valid Class-1 Medical
• Age
  45 years (For Ex Armed Forces Pilot – 55 years)

2. Battery Shop In-charge

• Duration: 1 year, with the possibility of extension
• Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Independent charge of the DGCA approved Battery Shop. Shall carry out and certify all types of shop level maintenance work on different models of batteries installed on aircraft fleet operated by IGRUA. Coordinate with the engineers on the floor and ensure completion of work in the stipulated time frame as per Work Orders issued by the CAMO Cell.
• Education
  • Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in the Avionics Stream from any DGCA approved AME Institute
  • BAMEL/BAMEEC in ES is mandatory and preference will be given to those holding ES, IS &RN
• Experience
  • Minimum 6 years general aviation experience including 2 ½ yrs training in any DGCA approved AME Institute.
  • Technical personnel not possessing the required educational qualification from any AME School should be at least an Intermediate from PCM group, with minimum 6 years working experience in any General Aviation Organization/Flying Club.
  • At least 2 years experience in any General Aviation Organization/Flying Club approved Battery Shop.
    She/he already holding Authorization for Battery Shop for any organization covering batteries similar to those installed in IGRUA fleet of aircraft will be desirable.

• Job Responsibilities
  • Job responsibilities will include administering & monitoring financial systems, preparation of budget, maintenance of ledgers, administration of payroll, Implement financial policies & procedures and maintain cash control.
• Education
  • CA/ICWA with 3 years experience preferably in a Public Sector Undertaking.
  • Should possess knowledge of accounting software such as Tally etc.
  • Desirable
    • Knowledge of accounting system followed in Government offices. Familiarisation with GST.
• Experience
  • Experience of 10 years in handling accounts / finance / statutory compliance/ filing of returns etc in Government / autonomous bodies.
