YCMOU to start hospitality in aviation course at Nagpur
Nashik: The Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) will soon start a hospitality in aviation course at MIHAN, Nagpur. It is a first for the university to conduct a course in the field of aviation.
Vice chancellor of the university, Manikrao Salunkhe said, “The university will start two courses: a diploma in aviation hospitality and one in travel tourism management. The course duration will be one year with two semesters and will be accepting those candidates who have passed their Higher Secondary Examination (HSC) at least and preferably a graduate of any stream.”
Students with a polytechnic diploma qualification from any stream can also apply for the course.
“Another degree course in Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) in aviation hospitality and travel and tourism management will also be offered to the students. This course will be for a period of three years with six semesters,” Salunkhe said.
