NALSAR offers course in Aviation, Space, Telecom
Hyderabad: One of the contemporary but neglected areas in Indian legal realm is Air and Space laws.
To fill this gap and to promote further studies and research in the aerospace law, NALSAR University of Law which is consistently been ranked as the leading law university in India, has recently launched a few innovative and value added programes in Aviation, Space, Telecommunication, GIS and Remote Sensing Laws.
The Law varsity established the Centre for Air and Space Law (CASL) in 2005 with the objective of promoting the development of aviation and space laws and related policies.
With the support from organisations such as Ministry of Civil Aviation, ISRO and Surveyor General of India and the Telecommunications industry, NALSARCASL has recently launched a few innovative and value added programmes in Aviation, Space, Telecommunications, GIS and Remote Sensing Laws, Dr V.Balakista Reddy, Head, CASL, NALSAR university said in a release here today. The objective of introducing these unique courses is to cater to the needs of unprecedented aviation growth coupled with commercialization of telecom and space technologies, which requires a large and highly skilled workforce to meet not just the managerial requirements of the rapidly growing aerospace industry but also the legal complications that arise from the high value transactions involving the market participants.
