Career development centre to come up near Pune

Pune: Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd (HCCBPL) has entered into partnership with actor Salman Khan’s Being Human foundation, to scale up its career development centre (CDC), an initiative to empower rural, educated and underserved youth.
As part of this endeavour, a new career development centre will be set up in Pune this year.
The company’s chief executive officer T Krishnakumar, chief operating officer and co-founder of NIIT Ltd P Rajendran, K K Mukherjee of Gram Niyojan Kendra and Salman Khan came together to unveil the new career development centre logo. They felicitated students who have passed out of the centre and got their first jobs.
Since its inception, the initiative has benefitted over 209 youth, helping them get their first jobs by providing them training aimed to enhance their employability at a low cost.
