Case registered against Aveon Academy

Following the agitation of the students of Aveon Inn Aviation Academy and their parents alleging that they have been cheated of the fees they have paid, the police have registered a case against the owner of the institution, Praveen G Thambi, of Bangalore, and four others.
Aluva centre coordinator Bipin and four others, including principal Nisha Bhaskaran and Toni, another local co-ordinator, have also been included in the case. Principal of the insititute, Nisha Bhaskaran, is reportedly  missing, while others have been taken into custody.
The institute located at Paravoor Junction had claimed that they have affiliation to Pacific University in Rajasthan but on inquiry it has been found that it is false. Based on this fact, the case was registered on the charge of “cheating the public.” The Aveon Academy was started two years ago as a branch of Bangalore-based A J Foundation.
