Fake pilot scam: 1 held for forging marksheet
New Delhi: One more person has been arrested in the fake pilot scam for allegedly using forged marksheets to procure a commercial flying licence. The accused has been identified as Gaurav Jain. He was arrested from Delhi on Tuesday. Jain had obtained his commercial flying licence by using forged marksheets after he failed his Air Navigation Composite paper twice, said police. With Jain’s arrest, the total number of people nabbed in such cases is now 21 – 13 pilots , three DGCA officials, two middleman and two forgers . Jaipur Police has arrested two fake pilots since March 7 after the fake pilot scam was unearthed by the DGCA. Five pilots are still on the run, said police. Jain, a resident of Mandsour in MP, had earlier approached Indore high court which granted him anticipatory bail for two months. He then applied for anticipatory bail before the Saket court, which was dismissed on August 6. 11/08/11 Times of India
