Flight Point ready for airline industry demands

Chennai: To meet the growing demands of airline and hospitality industry, Flight Point, a subsidiary of Delta Flight School, is launching an integrated one-year Diploma in Cabin Crew and Hospitality Management from the current academic year, with an intake of 30 students only.
Speaking about the benefits of the course, Capt Prashanth Elangovan, Vice-President of Delta Flight School based in Texas, USA, and Director of Flight Point, said that the course would offer lots of opportunities for those who wanted to take up a career in airline industry as also in travel agencies and hotels apart from cruise ship and cargo agencies.
“Though the prescribed minimum qualification is tenth standard, the admission to the course is based on an aptitude test,’’ Prashanth Elangovan said and added, “The first batch will start on July 19 this year after the spot admissions done after the routine counselling and other procedures.’’
Stating that the diploma course offered by his institute  enjoyed the necessary global recognition in terms of placement of students in domestic airline and shipping industry, Prashant Elangovan said that the salary structure at the entry level would be anywhere between Rs 25,000 and Rs 75,000 a month.
