Arizona Flight Training Center opens in Glendale
Glendale, Arizona: The Arizona Flight Training Center, launched operations in Glendale,Arizona on February 1st, 2010. The new flight school is based at the Glendale Municipal Airport and offers a full compliment of ratings from flight instructors who individually have over 2000 hours of flight experience.
The demand for commercial pilots worldwide is steadily increasing, as the economic recovery continues in aviation and there are now considerably fewer professional training outlets available to potential aviators. Company President and Chief Flight Instructor, Rick Rademaker said, “the need for professional level flight training from highly qualified flight instructors was the purpose for starting the Arizona Flight Training Center.†In addition, the greater Phoenix area is considered to have some of the finest flying weather in the world, with an average of 350 days a year of clear and sunny skies.
Some of the programs are designed for DGCA, India compliance. The Center also have a Cessna 152 available for DGCA recency requirements.
The Arizona Flight Training Center’s expansive fleet includes a range of aircraft from the Piper Seneca, Diamond DA-40 and Cessna 152, to the more cost effective, Garmin 430 equipped, Cessna 172P as the core training platform.
Training in a 172P will save about $4000 over a 172SP in a commercial pilot program. And fulfilling recency requirements in a C-152 will save even more money than in a C-172P.
“We believe that we can provide high quality training with the GNS-430, while saving the student a considerable amount of money by utilizing the 172P model,†commented Rademaker.
The Arizona Flight Training Center caters to anyone from professional student pilots, to the private individual, as well as military pilots looking to transition to the airlines by earning an ATP rating, through a specialized program offered by the flight school.
