SpiceJet to offer BBA, MBA programmes to employees

Chennai: SpiceJet has joined hands with University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) to provide full-time MBA and BBA programmes in Aviation Management to its employees. A company release here today said this programme was a fully sponsored opportunity from SpiceJet and included free travel and stay facilities. This was the second major step towards employee empowerment announced by the airline, the first being ESOP offerings.
SpiceJet had selected the first batch of 15 students for the MBA programme. The objective of the programme was to provide managerial education tojunior and middle level managers, enabling them to develop skills and talent required for higher managerial positions in the organisation, the release added.
