Another Elite flight training device goes in to action in India
Elite Simulation Solutions, one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of advanced PC driven flight simulators, has seen another of its products come into use in India.
Having been approved by India DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation), Elite’s Evolution iGATE S512 – an Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) – is now operating at Alchemist Aviation Pvt Ltd to help train pilots at Sonari Airport, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
All Elite flight training devices sold in India have a GenView India visual database, to give students the feeling of real locations over which they will eventually fly.
The S512 features constant force control via a spring loaded system and is easily convertible for both single-engine and multi-engine aircraft. It also provides the flying credits required by the DGCA.
The boom in Indian aviation has lead to an increase in the number of flying academies. Student pilots will soon be able to log more flight simulator hours besides actual flight time, matching other countries. Hence, the demand for flight simulators is developing.
To cater for Asian customers, Elite has appointed SRK Aviacom (I) Pvt Ltd as its dealer in India.
Captain Sanjay, Executive Director of SRK, said: “ With a very close understanding of customer’s
requirements, we intend to develop and establish Elite’s brand in Asia.
“In line with Elite’s policy, we believe in providing high quality and the best facility to our customers, rather than ‘just’ a simulator. Being quickly convertible the S512 offers Alchemist Aviation the highest benefit-cost ratio.â€
