DGCA publishes instructions for candidates appearing this month's Pilots License Examination

DGCA directs all candidates appearing at all centres of Pilots License Written Examination scheduled on 16th, 17th & 18th October, 2007 to carry a Photo Identity Card issued by DGCA for entry into the Examination Hall. This Photo Identity Card shall be issued to only those candidates, who are admitted for the written examination, says the notification published on 4/10/007. The DGCA Photo Identity Card will be issued by the Regional / Sub-regional Offices of DGCA at examination centres under their jurisdiction to the admitted candidates before the examination date and also on the day of examination at the exam centre.
The form for issue of DGCA Photo Identity Card may be down loaded from here or here. Candidates are advised to download this form and fill in the required information and paste their passport size photograph at the given
space. The completed form should be brought to the Regional/Sub- Regional Offices or the examination centre, where it will be signed and stamped by the DGCA officer.
Candidates can also have their DGCA Photo Identity Card issued from Central Examination Organization, New Delhi on working days between 1500 to 1700 Hours. Candidates
should bring their Photo Identity Proof like SPL / PPL / CPL / CHPL / ATPL / Official Photo Identity Card / Passport etc. for issue of DGCA Photo Identity Card.
Candidates who do not possess the Photo Identity Card, issued by DGCA, shall not be permitted in the Examination Hall.
