Capt. Anju Varghese is the Managing Director of AV Aviation, a well reputed pilot training academy based at Germany that works in association with Air Alliance Flight Center GmbH based in Siegerland, Germany.
Capt. Anju took her pilot licenses from FTC Euro Flight,Mannheim, Germany and she has many firsts to her credit.
She was the first Indian woman pilot to get CPL from Germany and she also was the first Asian woman pilot with German licence. Before establishing Av Aviation in 2005, She was working as Marketing Officer for Asia at Intercockpit Flight School which is subsidiary of Lufthansa. Capt. Anju has over 5700 hours of flying experience in a variety of aircraft like Cessna, Piper and TB-20, Lear jet and Boeing 737. She also is a licensed glider pilot. She has selected, guided and trained many pilot students from all over the world.
Capt. Anju says: “All I look for in my students is passion for flying. If it’s there then my guidance will hone their skills and they can prepare for a career in aviation”.
