For these women, no limits in the sky

It’s an open sky, and Sujata Tiwari is constantly pushing the limits. Ask her how it feels to pierce through the air as a pilot , or train cadets to become future military forces, and she will tell you how to give shape to your dreams.
Wing Commander Sujata Tiwari has many firsts on her CV. “I was the first woman commander in the Directorate of Intelligence Bureau in Mumbai, I’ve been a commentator for Indian Air Force performances at the Republic Day parade and 10 IAF parades, and seven colour presentations by the President,” a proud Sujata told TOI.
She is also the first person in her family to have joined the forces. “I always wanted to do something different in life, and piloting just came my way. My parents were supportive and now they are proud of me,” she said.
